Service guidance
Service guidance provides guidance and support throughout your studies. If you have concerns about starting your studies, financing your studies, or don’t know who to turn to, Riveria’s service guidance will help you move forward.
Service guidance can provide
- guidance with applying for meal or travel compensation
- guidance with applying for Kela’s study and travel allowances
- guidance for international students on starting their studies: e.g., bank accounts, phone contracts, and dealing with authorities
- listening and support in challenging situations
- information about other services that can help in your situation: for example, student welfare services or municipal services
- practical matters and certificates related to studies: study certificates, parking permits, student ID cards, locker key cards
You can reach the service advisor by phone, email, or Teams from Monday to Thursday between 9 AM and 2 PM. Personal service is available at the Peltola campus, address Päätalo, 1st floor, room E140. On Fridays, consultations are only by appointment.

You can order a study certificate using this form (in Finnish), by phone at 013 244 2220 or by email: opintotoimisto@riveria.fi. We will respond to service requests by the next business day at the latest.
If you have lost your diploma, you can order a paid copy from Riveria’s archives. The order form can be found on Riveria’s webiste (in Finnish).
My Studyinfo service
Through the My Studyinfo service, you can share a link to your academic records with, for example, educational institutions, employers, Kela, work- and business life services, or other authorities. The web address for logging into the My Studyinfo is https://studyinfo.fi/oma-opintopolku/. Using the service requires Finnish online banking credentials. The service contains all vocational qualifications completed after 2018.
